Dr. Kayla Clark

Dr. Kayla Clark grew up in Seattle, Washington. She followed in her father’s footsteps and received her doctoral degree in 2015 at Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, CA, and she has been practicing in the Seattle area ever since.

Dr. Clark has pursued extra training in postural correction, as well as becoming certified in the Webster technique. Dr. Clark takes a holistic/wellness approach to chiropractic by providing patients with care that focuses on long-term healing and overall health.

When Dr. Clark is not in the office, she spends much of her free time enjoying the great outdoors- hiking, paddle boarding, white water rafting, and spending time with her friends and family.

Dr. Shane Walton

Dr. Shane Walton was born and raised in Bangor, Maine. He attended the University of Maine where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a focus in Exercise Science. Dr. Walton then moved to San Jose, California to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic West to receive his Doctorate of Chiropractic.

Dr. Walton grew up playing football, baseball, basketball and competed in track and field. His love for sports had him getting regular chiropractic treatments to keep him competing at a high level. The results of his own experiences and success with chiropractic led to him pursue a career in the field.

Outside the office, Dr. Walton continues to lead a health and fitness driven lifestyle. You can often find him on the Burke-Gilman or running around Greenlake when he is not out in the mountains hiking, camping and exploring all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Paulina Ortuzar Valdes

Patient Care Coordinator

Paulina was born and raised in Chile, arriving in Seattle in 2010. She has a degree in Education with a major in Early Childhood and worked as a preschool teacher for a few years in Chile and the US.

Regardless of her degree, she has always had a passion for healthcare, and thanks to Fremont Spine and Wellness discovered the goodness of chiropractic care and all the benefits that brings to people’s health and life.

Her hobbies are traveling, running, interior decor, music, and world history.

Zoie Bactista

Patient Care Coordinator

Zoie was born and raised on the island of Oahu in Hawai’i. About 2 years ago, she traded palm trees and sand for pines and snow.

Growing up she was very active and learned early on the importance of taking care of your body. Shortly after moving to Seattle, Zoie became a chiropractic rehab assistant and x-ray technician certified and this was where her love for natural healing had sparked!

Her goal is to utilize her role here to help as many people as possible feel good and healthy. In her free time, she loves exploring the Seattle food scene, powerlifting, and spending time with friends.

Blake Stewart

Billing Specialist

Blake is a Seattle native, but fell in love with holistic healthcare while attending WWU in Bellingham, WA. She eventually traveled back to the city to pursue her Master’s degree in Midwifery at Bastyr University. She graduated in 2019 and is a Licensed Midwife with Rainy City Midwifery here in Seattle.

As a healthcare provider, Blake sees first-hand how essential chiropractic care is in facilitating natural pregnancy and birth, and feels that everybody can benefit from this wonderful healing modality!

In her free time, Blake loves attending music festivals, hula hooping, cooking Italian food, and being surrounded by dogs.

Traci Thompson

Licensed Massage Practitioner

A graduate of Port Townsend School of Massage in 2006, Traci has been helping people to heal naturally ever since. Traci suffered from frequent headaches for years, and her love for Chiropractic started in 2011 after her first adjustment while doing massage therapy in a Chiropractic office in Southern California.

She was in awe that the pain she’d dealt with for so long seemed to disappear instantly. She always had a passion for natural healing through massage, healthy diet, and exercise, and was now SO excited that she could add Chiropractic to that passion as well.

She now sees massage and chiropractic going hand-in-hand – both great on their own, but even better together. She continued doing massage work at that office for six years before returning home to Seattle and joining the Fremont Spine + Wellness team.

In her free time, Traci enjoys cooking healthy meals, reading thrillers, and traveling to new places as often as she can.

Ziggy S. Thompselquist

Chief of Morale Officer

Ziggy takes his position as “Chief of Morale Officer” very seriously. He’s on a mission to make sure everyone who walks through the doors gets their spirits lifted and a smile put on their faces. He makes sure everyone feels welcome by greeting them at the door. If needed, he is happy to demonstrate stretches on the floor, show you how to relax while getting a massage, and even give you a little smooch on the hand during your adjustment to let you know you’re in good hands and will be feeling better soon. Ziggy has also been know to go all out and crawl into patients arms for a cuddle or show off his belly for a scratch. Whatever it takes, Ziggy is up for the challenge.

When Ziggy isn’t boosting morale at FSW, he enjoys playing at the dog park, chasing squirrels out of the garden, and snuggling with his mom and dad.
