Ready to discover the benefits of chiropractic care?

Chiropractic BioPhysics is a highly-advanced, scientific, and proven chiropractic technique which corrects and restores your spine back to alignment.

Chiropractic BioPhysics combines biology, physiology, physics, geometry, and anatomy to identify the causes of your pain, discomfort, loss of mobility, and altered health. That means your diagnosis – and treatment – will be based on sound scientific and chiropractic principles.

Dr. Walton uses the Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP) method to treat chiropractic care in Seattle

What to Expect from a CBP Chiropractor?

We start with a scientifically-based examination of your posture, spinal alignment, and function – often involving x-rays as a way to pinpoint the root cause of your spinal misalignment. Once the source is identified, they will create a carefully planned series of adjustments, exercises, and a spinal remodeling program to put you on a pain-free road to better health.

How is CBP Different from Other Techniques?

Unlike regular chiropractic care in Fremont that mainly focuses on immediate pain relief, Chiropractic BioPhysics goes one step further to also correct the source of the problem. That’s why most patients under our care not only report relief from pain and discomfort, but as their posture begins to align, they notice other conditions clearing up as well.

The “Anatomy” of CBP®

1. Specific Spinal Adjustments

The foundation of chiropractic practice is the spinal adjustment. Most spinal adjustments improve range of motion and reduce pain. However, very few spinal adjustment techniques have ever been shown to change spine position. At Modern Chiropractic Center – mc2, we utilize a combination of those methods most effective for range of motion, but we also incorporate unique Mirror-Image® adjustment methods developed specifically and proven to change the alignment of the spine and posture.

2. Postural Corrective Exercises

Chiropractic Biophysics® includes a combination of corrective exercises. These exercises have the goal of stabilizing the spine into the corrected alignment. We start patients with basic Mirror-image® corrective exercises. Next, we advance patients by teaching advanced functional movement procedures to systematically correct alignment asymmetries or major limitations in functional movement patterns. This is called “Mirror-Image in Motion”.

3. Corrective Traction

Utilizing Chiropractic Biophysics technique, Modern Chiropractic Center – mc2 includes extensive corrective traction methods to realign the spine towards normal. Correction of spine alignment is measured on follow-up X-rays to ensure improvement in alignment. Randomized clinical trials have shown spinal correction to provide longer lasting relief as compared to physical therapy alone. At mc2, we have dozens of traction “machines” that can each be tailored for an individual’s specific spinal misalignment.

Spinal Alignment

Correct posture is at the core of the Chiropractic BioPhysics method of treatment. The curves in your spine act as levers, shock absorbers, and resistance to gravity, they also protect and reduce forces acting on the spinal cord and nerve tissues. But, gravity, age, poor posture, improper physical activity, injury, and disease can all play a role in the misalignment of your spinal curves and, as a result, your entire body.

CBP Can Help Restore That Balance.

Following a scientific analysis of your posture and the curvature of your spine, a treatment plan is developed, based on your deficits, to restore proper alignment, relieve pain, and improve function.

Your treatment plan may include a variety of tested and proven CBP techniques, including adjustment, exercise, and traction or what is termed ‘Spinal Remodeling’.

Restoring Your Health

Your spine houses your nervous system – the most delicate and important organ system – responsible for your day to day bodily functions. From your immune, cardiovascular, and digestive system, to sexual function and mobility – your nerves are responsible for sending vital information and energy from the brain to your organs through your spine.

Just as a kink in a garden hose can dramatically reduce the flow of water coming from the tap – a spine out of alignment dramatically reduces vital information going from your brain to vital organs. Thus, your organs are much more susceptible to malfunction and disease.

It’s not just coincidence that people most with poor posture tend to lack energy and suffer from fatigue, experience random aches and pains, as well as suffer from headaches / migraines, allergies, ear infection, sleeping disorders, gastrointestinal issues (such as GERD), asthma, high blood pressure, etc.

As a CBP patient, you will notice not only a dramatic decrease in pain in discomfort, but more importantly a sense of restored health and energy.

FAQS

Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP) is a highly advanced, scientific, and research-based chiropractic technique that focuses on correcting spinal alignment and improving posture to alleviate pain and enhance overall health. CBP uses precise adjustments, traction, and corrective exercises to restore normal spinal curves and biomechanics.

How does CBP chiropractic care differ from traditional chiropractic treatments?

CBP chiropractic care differs from traditional chiropractic treatments by its emphasis on structural correction of the spine. While traditional chiropractic care often focuses on pain relief and symptom management, CBP aims to correct spinal misalignments and postural abnormalities to provide long-term health benefits and prevent future issues.

What conditions can CBP chiropractic care help treat?

CBP chiropractic care can help treat a wide range of conditions, including chronic back pain, neck pain, headaches, scoliosis, sciatica, disc herniations, and postural problems. By addressing the root causes of these conditions through spinal correction, CBP can provide effective and lasting relief.

What should I expect during my first visit to a CBP chiropractor?

During your first visit to a CBP chiropractor, you can expect a comprehensive evaluation, including a detailed health history, postural assessment, and spinal X-rays if necessary. The chiropractor will use this information to develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs and goals.

How does CBP chiropractic care improve posture?

CBP chiropractic care improves posture through a combination of spinal adjustments, traction therapy, and corrective exercises. These techniques work together to realign the spine, strengthen supporting muscles, and re-educate the body to maintain proper posture, thereby reducing pain and improving overall function.
